Kanesha Bates Posts: 4 9/18/2020	Kanesha Bates Posts: 4 Hi Melissa, The "elevator speech" should actually flow naturally in the conversation, so I wouldn't think having a prepared "speech" is the goal. As long as the basic facts are stated, it should be fine. I usually describe Project SEARCH as a transition to work program for individuals with disabilities that provides them an opportunity to gain equal employment. If the person has questions it's good to have information to provide, but usually people are just curious.

Here is a sample in the simplest form. My name is...… I am an intern at …….. My internship is in …….. dept, After Project SEARCH I want to work ……… Video and practice make perfect. Suggestion: Have them stand up and practice when someone new comes in the training room.
