A Project SEARCH site asked if we knew of any examples of a graphic design internship at any sites. Do you have a graphic design internship or something similar at your host business? Please share thoughts and examples

We just created a new opportunity for an intern who will be interviewing both interns and mentors to create a "meet the team" newsletter. She will also be working on the design of the template to layout the information. We are hoping that this model could be used to highlight other people and areas during her internship for the host business as a potential publication. So, not all graphic design, but it does incorporate that creative freedom and working with the marketing team here.
We have also used some of our class time to develop power point presentations on jobs that the interns were interested in and then presented during the class. It is not the same as graphic design, but does also incorporate those skills that you might be looking to foster.
