Small class graduation thoughts....

Hello all! This year we have a small graduating class. Unfortunately three of them are on medical leave which leaves us with just 3 attending graduation. I am struggling with how to manage such a small number of grads and have it be super meaningful. Usually it is a large group with many guests but it looks like each of the 3 attending students is only having 2 guests and we have to hold it off campus this year so not many of our host business staff will be in attendance. Looking for any ideas or things that have worked for you in a similar situation. Thank you.

If you have pictures you can make a slideshow. This year we are having a former intern come and give a speech at our graduation.

We usually have the program director, hospital representative and the instructor speak. Interns receive certificates and watch a slideshow of photos from the year. We also have the mentors create short "Good Luck" videos that we share with the audience.

Hi there. Suggestions that I have heard to make the day special from other teams that have experienced low graduation numbers are the following: · If food is being served make it something that they like or could choose o Interns one year wanted hamburgers and hot dogs, so it was a picnic theme instead of finger foods. · If dessert is being served, can it be personalized to each intern? o Cookie with their name on it o Cookie with the logo on it · Make the space more intimate, so it doesn’t look empty. Or fill the space with items showcasing the interns. · Invite the hosting departments to the training room sometime before graduation to celebrate with the interns. · Invite the hosting departments to line the halls on the last day to congratulate and encourage the interns as they leave
