Lisa Laqua Posts: 13 11/21/2019	Lisa Laqua Posts: 13 As our program has grown, so has our need to find ways to make our interns feel more included. Does anyone host a gift exchange/holiday party for your interns and supervisors/mentors? I have an intern with no family holiday traditions, so I want to give all of them a new "work tradition" this year. Any and all suggestions are appreciated.

Diane Broadley Posts: 1 11/26/2019	Diane Broadley Posts: 1 Our hospital has a demonstration kitchen, and the staff in the kitchen will be having a small cooking class celebration for the interns. This will be a festive class, and they will learn to make healthier chocolate bark with dried fruits and nuts.

Posts: 6/9/2020	Posts: Hello Our interns celebrate each holiday with there perspective departments. In addition we participate with the hospitals for example: Halloween we allow the interns to dress up and participate in the Halloween parade, Tree Decorating and department ornament decorations, food drive. In addition after each rotation we celebrate with our interns handing out certificates for thier accomplishment and a Completion for the Rotation Certificate while having lunch at a local resteraunt. We take the local transportation so to practice this skill as well. Each intern is also provided the menu in advance so they may budget accordingly.
