We have been discussing self-advocacy in the workplace and how the interns should approach an employer when they need something to be successful. However, I was hoping to put in some real practice in their internships by maybe having the interns advocate for themselves in some way by reaching out to their mentor or someone else in their department. Does anyone do any type of weekly skills practice within the interns workday or have any suggestions on how to have the interns practice this skill?
