6/22/2020 Topic: Summer events Jill Scott	Typically I would have a gathering each month in the summer. One a lunch and learn with lunch hosted at our site, and some information topic. This helps me get to know the interns and gives them an opportunity to be onsite and helps to decrease anxiety about the location. The second meeting would be a lunch outing and a shift at some community service, like a food bank. This gives me an opportunity to see the new interns working in an unfamiliar environment. It does great for team building. However, this year has been a little challenging. I have had one meeting, lunch in the park and did not have good attendance. So like everything else I have to try something different to get them engaged and interested.
6/22/2020 Topic: Financial Literacy Jill Scott	The online banking is difficult to find. There are a few, but they don't go as in depth as I would like. I use NGPF mentioned in another message. They have great financial literacy stuff and it is free and easy.

8/31/2020 Topic: Creative internship ideas during COVID-19 Jill Scott	My program is only going partially to the host site as it is on lock down and so many of the tasks we have done are not needed. (Sanitizing and stocking common areas, waiting rooms, etc.) So we are creating internships at our school site. It is going not the ideal, but the best we can do at this time. We will reassess our host site at the end of 1st rotation and take more interns there if possible. Being flexible and creative is the name of the game this year.
1/27/2021 Topic: Recruiting for New Applicants Jill Scott	I think everyone is the same boat with difficulties recruiting. I had not thought of contacting libraries, rec leagues, or maybe associations. Give me a new avenue. Thanks for sharing. I am planning on doing a virtual open house in March, but worried that I will not get anyone on the call. So trying to really shake the bushes.
