8/15/2019 Topic: Welcome New Teams! Karen Lockerman	Hi! We are brand new as well. The students start Monday. (I'm in Walterboro SC, Walmart by the way). I plan on developing a few scavenger hunts so interns will know the store this week. I am also going to have them work together to build things with toothpicks, marshmallows, etc. I would love more ideas as well. The store will be giving us a tour and hopefully going over some onboarding things with us. I can use as many ideas as I can get. Of course, we will begin our resumes and interviews with lots of role play. I really want to make it interesting and pertinent at the same time. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
11/14/2019 Topic: Transition Week Karen Lockerman	We are going to go on a field trip. Our students chose to skip tailgate day at the school so they could work so we are going to practice our transportation skills, social skills, and money skills on a field trip one day at least.
12/1/2019 Topic: 2020 Conference Topics Karen Lockerman	I would love to see the different ways interns are evaluated by the different sites. I am using a few of the ideas on the site and will now start using Class Dojo in the 2nd internship. I really want a way that interns take ownership. Also, does anyone know where the conference will take place? I know Maryland and the dates but need the hotel/specific location to turn in paperwork to my district.
