Does anyone have lessons on how to give good customer service? I have an intern that does not always recognize/understand how to help the customer, to make small talk, have body language that makes them approachable, know how to end the customer interaction by saying, "have a nice day", etc. |

Children's Mercy Hospital is now requiring all employees, volunteers and students to be vaccinated by Dec. 15, 2021. We have one family who does not want their child vaccinated. We are considering having the intern finish their first department rotation (ends Nov. 23). Then, starting job development and look for employment. Not idea, but best we can think of now. We are open to other ideas on how to handle this situation. Thank you!! |

They are not quite ready for job development and the parents are adamant about not having the interns vaccinated. We have no other PS sites in our town or county. Any thoughts? |

Our PS does not have an alternative site either. That is why our intern went straight to job development with VR and a job development coach. |
