Hello everyone! Just letting you know the information about food, nutrition and the dangers of too much fast-food on our bodies in SUPER SIZED and the PS worksheet were great. However, because this is IN our sanctioned Project SEARCH curriculum, I broke a cardinal rule of mine as an educator and I only watched about the first 20-25 minutes of the documentary Little did I know that the words sh*t, f^@k, 2 specific references to sex, erections and about 20 pictures of barely clothed teenage girls where included in the video. I know our interns are ' adults' according to the law, BUT we all understand that the majority of our special needs young adults are not as emotionally or socially mature as their general educated peers. I believe a note or warning should be placed on objective 7.1.3 for this documentary. Call me old fashioned, but I am trying to be careful and a SAFE place for the continued education of our interns. Hi Pam, Thanks for the warning. I totally agree. I am trying to find the video you are referring to though. Where is it located at? I don't see it under video library. I did find the supersized worksheet. Thanks.
