Karyn Carr Posts: 6 1 days ago	Karyn Carr Posts: 6 For assessment day we set up 8 stations, 1. Computer skills: The prospective intern (PI) is given verbal directions to complete an online survey. Once on the survey the PI complete independently. 2. Ready for Work: Show the PI uniform components of, hairnet, buttoned down shirt, apron, shoe covers and explain the order you'd like to have them put on. 3. Money: Have PI identify paper and coin money. Have certain products lined up on the table with prices clearly marked. Ask for a specific priced item and have the PI give proper cash amount. 4. Patient Gown Packet: Explain what goes into a patient packet, give a checklist of each item and have the PI create a patient packet. 5. Housekeeping: Give PI a task list, put on gloves, spray table wipe table, etc. we spread oatmeal on the floor and have the PI vacuum. 6. Transport: Place a volunteer into wheelchair, have PI check fake ID of volunteer and have PI push volunteer around makeshift course. 7. Linens: Have a list of how many washcloths, blankets, gowns, green pads and sheets a PI is to gather. 8. Interview: PI answers preset questions. If you'd like any other info let me know.
