Hi

I thought it may be useful to create a thread specifically for any P.S members in Scotland, we obviously all operate in relation to Scottish Government policy and thought a forum to share ideas/issues may be helpful!!! smile

It would be so good to see the sites using PS Chat more to share ideas, we could remind people at the Network meetings to start using it.

Hi Kari - great idea, we don't use this function enough! Although we are back at site we have found the increase in covid numbers has meant our final rotations have been pulled. We are now looking to start some community based placements. Will let you all know how they get on - it could be another option for the time being before we can get back into normal rotations

Hi Kari, an update from our site at Culzean Castle, South Ayrshire. We have been back on site since the beginning of May, and although we had some challenges with only two outdoor placements being offered, we have made it work by splitting the group one half of the week to minimise numbers. Happy to report that we are going into Rotation 3 with four placements on offer, including the Burns Museum in Alloway. I am also going to be doing a reverse jobs fair. Has anyone in Scotland done this as yet? Looking for some tips.
