3/9/2020 Topic: URGENT - IEP change when intern gets a job! Theresa Moran	Is it possible to do an amendment to the hours and goals to reflect employment? Is this intern hired at the host business? If there are adult services that are providing the job coaching then I think you could exit the intern and just make sure they are part of the end of the year celebration or other events as the work schedule permits.
3/9/2020 Topic: Off-Site Internships Theresa Moran	Yes, we have done "Business Internships" at local businesses for several years now. They have worked out really well. I can share the basic outline that I use with businesses if you email me at tmoran@cdaschools.org. These business internships have lead to great jobs in our community and improved employment outcomes. We do work closely with the intern to make sure that they can get to and from the business internship on their own since we hope that it becomes a paid position.

3/18/2020 Topic: Online learning resources Theresa Moran	I have been having my students complete a document in Google Drive. I also had them complete a self-evaluation for the 2nd rotation that we had to wrap up a week early. I have had phone calls with the interns and I am trying schedule a conference call. We also started this workbook prior to the school closure and I will continue to make assignments from it. 10/27/2021 Topic: Looking for lessons Theresa Moran	I have used the 411 on Disability Disclosure for 12 years. I really wish there was an updated version. But it does get the interns thinking about their disability and how to disclose on the job. One of the final projects our interns do at the end of the Project SEARCH year is write their disability disclosure script for employment. Many have used their script as a starting point for asking for accommodations on their 1st job. I also skip Unit 6 and get right into disclosure on the job (Unit 7). If we have time at the end of the year I go back to unit 6.
