9/30/2021 Topic: National Disability Employment Awareness Activity Lorie McCrory

Hi there! Our host business is a county government administrative building. We are attending the County Commissioners meeting as they read a declaration for October as National Employment Disability Month. We plan to have a table that will be manned by our interns, and provide brochures and information to employees at the host site. In addition, we ordered posters from the DOL that we plan to hang around the building promoting disability employment awareness

11/8/2024 Topic: Internship Reveal Lorie McCrory

We have done 12 days of internships at holiday time with clues for each of the internships and in the spring we have used mini pinatas with the name of the internship inside along with some candy. We have the department mentors attend the reveals as well. We are also looking for some ideas to freshen things up
