4/3/2024 Topic: Help make VocFit better Dennis Cleary	Thanks DJ. We received a grant from the Great state of Ohio to make it even better -- one of the cool new features is that you just need to do assessments, and VocFit will automatically run the reports for you. And the printing will be much cleaner --coming in July and revelaed at the Project SEARCH conference.
8/12/2024 Topic: VR/VocFit Dennis Cleary	Hi Shanta -- there are lots of changes. There will be regular trainings on the portal -- including today (August 12th at 1:00 eastern time) that will be recorded and shared on the portal. In the meantime, I've attached a sheet specifically on assessments. Shanta Boyd wrote: I logged onto Voc..fit and I notice the changes. I not sure where to find the voc.fit assessment on the page. I do not see where to send the assessment to the interns.
10/8/2024 Topic: Voc Fit timeline question Dennis Cleary	Hello -- I'm sorry for the delay in posting. Ideally, you would assess them before each internship and at the end of the final internship so you can show change over the entire Project SEARCH year. You might not have great information the first time you assess someone -- we added 'low ability/unsure' as an assessment option. So I would do the best you can at the beginning. Some programs have added items to their skills assessment day to catch some additional VocFit skills. For next year, you can have the staff member from their previous program (either teacher or paraprofessional or if they are an adult program, someone who worked with them previously) fill out the assessment. 10/23/2024 Topic: VR/VocFit Dennis Cleary	Hello from Oklahoma. I am wanting to see if anyone has any data tracking sheets already made for voc fit? I am not wanting to re create if there is something out there already. Hi Jill -- I'm attaching the get started guide which has the items on the last page. VocFit tracks the data for you as well -- we are about to release an update that has a better download and later this year will have an editable version you can download. But please reach out to me with thoughts/ideas as we are still creating the editable VocFit download. We are calling it the VocFit planning tool and want it to be more EPM and IEP friendly. 11/18/2024 Topic: Assessment Monitoring- Progress Reports Dennis Cleary	Michelle, VocFit also does progress monitoring -- it automatically compares your first assessment with the most recent assessment. So if you did a VocFit at the start of the year and the next one at week seven for the employment planning meeting, it would show the percentage change by subscale. You can then download the report or do a screen capture.
