4/22/2020 Topic: Checking on eveyone Lisa Hunter	Hi Erin, Here in Calderdale everything is going well. All interns are engaged in coursework tasks set by me and fun daily challenges set by Tracey. WE are using Paldet, Kahoot and other methods of teaching remotely. Our Steering Group meeting is on Friday and it was interesting to read the info regarding remote assessments. I have been asked to complete risk assessments for my interns at this difficult time, has anyone else done this? Stay safe, Lisa
1/26/2022 Topic: Is Anyone Teaching DEI? Lisa Hunter	Hi, I created a picture quiz of famous people who have visible and hidden disabilities. I put the images around the room and ask the interns to mark on a sheet if they know who the celebrity is, if they have a disability and if so what that disability is. We then chat about how the celebrity may be affected or treated differently to others in a similar role and move on to how the interns feel about how they have been treated. I do also include this in Self advocacy and barriers to work.
