2/22/2022 Topic: Business Advisory Committees Beth Sherry	This is my first year as the PS instructor for my district. We have not had a BAC previously, but are working to get one going! We're developing our list of businesses that we'd like to invite to join, but we want to have a clear plan, vision, description, etc of what the purpose of the BAC will be before sending out those invites. Could anyone (everyone) give me a rundown of what a typical BAC meeting looks like for your site? I am excited for the connections that we will make, but I want to ensure that the BAC members value the time when we meet so that they continue attending and will hopefully grow our connections with them Thank you for any and all help/info!

3/28/2022 Topic: Attendance Beth Sherry	Hi everyone! We are using Timeclock to have interns clock in and out, which is great practice! I am wondering whether anyone has put together an actual policy for tardies/attendance issues? A couple of my interns this year have had difficulties with this, and we have conversations and reteaching every time there's an issue. But when it becomes an ongoing issue, I'd like to have some framework in place for when disciplinary meetings, parent meetings, etc need to occur. Does anyone have a policy like this that they're using? I have our host business' policy, and I will work to adapt that for our needs, but would love not recreate the wheel if possible! Thanks all!!
5/2/2023 Topic: Intern Employment Status Data Entry Beth Sherry	Hi all! In your program, who is responsible for entering internship/employment status data for your interns? I could see it making sense for the instructor to enter the internship data since that occurs daily at the host business. But I am wondering whether it would make more sense for the Skills Trainer/Job Placement Specialist who are providing follow-along services to enter employment info. Thoughts? How are yall doing this in your program? Thanks yall!
