Hi Lisa,
We are hosting three Zoom open houses for interested students and families. We have a Power Point presentation to share and we will give people an opportunity to ask questions. I have two interns participating in each open house. We are doing one in December from 6-7pm and one from 12-1pm, and one in January from 6-7pm. I will also follow up with area schools. Hi Emily,
We did a virtual completion ceremony last June and this year we are hoping to be able to do it in person. We invite someone from one of our partner agencies to speak along with someone from one of the internship departments as well as the CEO of the medical center. Interns prepare speeches talking about their experiences during the year and where they are looking for employment. We do a slide show for each intern showing their different internships (this runs while they are speaking). We conclude with a slide show with music from the year. Hope this helps...have fun! They have worked during a 100 year pandemic and there is much to celebrate! |

We have an intern checking nursing sets for expiration dates and restocking missing items, then the label it and put it back on the shelf. We had an intern wrapping basin sets for surgery, but they moved to disposable sets. |

Please know that Project SEARCH does not have an attendance rate per se, but we suggest that interns attend 80% of each internship or follow the host business attendance policy. |
