5/4/2021 Topic: Summer Programming Christine Gustke	At Project SEARCH Syracuse, NY we spend the summer working individually and in small groups with students on meeting health clearances, some introduction to the workplace environment and in utilizing public transportation so interns are able to successfully navigate home to internship at the start of the school year.
2/1/2023 Topic: Intern Injury Restriction Christine Gustke	We have had this come up in the past as well as this year. As previously mentioned we used in house clerical/technology work to meet some needs HR and some other departments had. In addition, we reached out to our school district to see if there was anything available that would be appropriate. That said we are fortunate to have our district office close to our host business. There may be something within your district, if you are a school program, to meet the needs.
5/26/2023 Topic: Small class graduation thoughts.... Christine Gustke	Hello all! This year we have a small graduating class. Unfortunately three of them are on medical leave which leaves us with just 3 attending graduation. I am struggling with how to manage such a small number of grads and have it be super meaningful. Usually it is a large group with many guests but it looks like each of the 3 attending students is only having 2 guests and we have to hold it off campus this year so not many of our host business staff will be in attendance. Looking for any ideas or things that have worked for you in a similar situation. Thank you.
