You may want to ask to speak to your marketing department and offer to do an educational article on Disability Awareness. Do the interns eat with their departments? The sites I support have not had any issues with HIPPA but your idea of reaching out to HR (Business Liaison) is a great start. Best of luck to you. · Organize meds in med bins · Run meds to med rooms · Sanitize work surfaces · Stock supplies (syringes, toppers, etc) · Receive and stock supplies from warehouse · Sort products in bins · Sanitize bins · Sanitize carts · Sanitize keyboards, mice, telephones · Organize meds for patient units in numerical order by room number · File labels and forms in numerical order, bundle in packs of 100 · Stock and face retail shelves · Check expiration dates · Dust retail shelves · Duplicate forms · Fax documents, scan documents · Wash glass and plastic cylinders and containers · Support techs and pharmacy · Bag retail sales · Greet customers · Show customers how to scan Q code Cindy
2/10/2020 Topic: Skiller Trainer Questions Cindy Burns	Hey Erin, Making a schedule is so important. Be sure to include quick "check in" meetings at the end of the day. This allows an agenda based off the needs of the interns and builds collaboration within the team. It is easy to get so busy you forget to debrief and adjust.

2/27/2020 Topic: BAC Meetings Cindy Burns	Hey Keith, I found that having a breakfast BAC was helpful. I can be difficult for the most dedicated to leave once they began the day. Ask your Steering Committee Members for suggestions of businesses. Keep it limited and worthwhile with a set time to begin, end and full agenda. There are suggestions of activities in the Tool Kit. BAC are a wonderful way to connect and assist interns in external job opportunities. Best of luck to you.

Questions to consider before : Is the Intern able to work independently? Do you have a plan on how you will be able to support the intern as needed? Is there a natural support in place? 6/16/2020 Topic: Business Advisory Committees Cindy Burns	Kudos ….. Great way to get connected!! The BAC is one of the best tools and was critical in my job development efforts. What are the big businesses in your community? What is the product of service they produce? Who is connected to those businesses? Use LinkedIn as a resource. How can you use those connections to best serve your interns? mock interviews, tours of their business , speak at job seeker prep class, introductions. The biggest barrier is prioritizing it and getting it scheduled.

Here is a sample in the simplest form. My name is...… I am an intern at …….. My internship is in …….. dept, After Project SEARCH I want to work ……… Video and practice make perfect. Suggestion: Have them stand up and practice when someone new comes in the training room.
